Campus Weather Station

A new campus weather station is set up on the roof of the school main building. The measured climate data will be displayed in real-time on the weather map of Community Weather Information Network (Co-WIN) . A team of geography and physics students will be responsible for the routine maintenance of the campus weather station and promote meteorology and environmental science education through the Co-WIN platform.

  

The Community Weather Information Network (Co-WIN) is a platform for providing real-time weather information to the public via software and an Internet website. The Hong Kong Observatory and the Department of Geography of the University of Hong Kong offer professional support to the members in Co-WIN for hardware installation and software technical issues.
