Year End Message

Good morning teachers and students.

 

Today is the last school day of the 2024-2025 school year. We are here to celebrate not just the end of another academic year, but a remarkable journey filled with growth, discovery and resilience. This ceremony isn't just about closing a chapter; it's about honoring the vibrant story we've written together at HKCWCC this year.

 

2024-2025 is another fruitful year for our school. Our students have won many group and individual awards in many inter-school and regional competitions in various academic and non-academic areas such as Mathematics, Science, sports, music etc. Congratulations students.

 

The summer holidays are starting soon. I hope you will make good use of it, to get some rest and recharge in these next few weeks. Remember to have fun, seize every opportunity to learn and experience more, and prepare yourself for the next school year.

 

After months of review on the existing time-table, the school has decided to make some changes in the coming school year. It includes changing the teaching cycle to 8-day, and arranging 8 40-minute lessons instead of 9 lessons every day. Moreover, the lunchtime will be extended by 5 minutes so that students could have sufficient time for lunch and activities. More details will be provided in September. 

 

I would like to extend my gratitude particularly to the teachers and staff who will be retiring or leaving the school this year. Thank you for your valuable contributions to the school. I wish you good health and every success in the future.

 

Lastly, thank you to all of you for your support for the school. I look forward to seeing you soon after the summer holiday. Thank you.
